3rd Annual Helicopter Golf Ball Drop
Our 3rd annual helicopter golf ball drop immediately following the tournament Monday April 27, 2009 at the El Paso Country Club (approximately 5pm). Sponsors for this event include Jobe Materials, pilot Stanley Jobe, and Helen of Troy, who generously sponsored the $25,000 grand prize for this exciting event. Tickets for the ball drop can be purchased through the brochure below or by calling Ronald McDonald House. In addition to the grand prize, 2 - $500 prizes will be awarded.
Official Rules

RMHC will individually number and sell 1,000 golf balls - weight, size, and shape of the balls may not be consistent.

All 1,000 balls will be dropped above a target pin. Balls may not be dropped directly over the pin, however, every attempt will be made to ensure that the balls are dropped as close to the target as possible.

RMHC & El Paso Country Club officials will determine, collect, and record the ten balls that have fallen "closest to the pin" using a tape measure.

The ten balls that have been determined to be "closest to the pin" by the officials will be called in to the insurance underwriter who will have pre-selected a "winning number".

If one of these ten balls matches the pre-selected "winning number" the purchaser of the ticket will win the $25,000 grand prize.

The grand prize may not be awarded if the pre-selected winning number does not match one of the ten balls that has fallen closest to the pin.

A $500 prize will be awarded to the ONE ball that falls closest to the pin as determined by RMHC and El Paso Country Club officials.

A $500 prize will be awarded to the ONE ball that falls the furthest away from the pin as determined by RMHC and El Paso Country Club officials.

The judgment of RMHC and El Paso Country Club officials is final.
